Explore Your Creativity!
At RVP Care Services, our Art Classes offer a fun and relaxing way for participants to explore their creativity and express themselves. Recently, we kicked off our group art classes, and it was a great success! Our participants guided by experienced support workers and NDIS carers. These classes aren’t just about painting or drawing, they’re about building confidence, developing new skills, and connecting with others in a safe and welcoming space. With support from our disability support workers, participants can enjoy learning at their own pace while having fun. It’s a fantastic opportunity for those receiving in home care or living in SIL accommodation around Pakenham, Narre Warren, Bunyip, Gembrook, Koo Wee Rup and nearby suburbs to be part of a supportive and creative environment.
What’s Included in the Art Program
Our art program includes seven creative sessions supported by a dedicated support worker. We provide all materials, so there’s no need to bring anything. At the end of each session, participants get to take home their own artwork. Whether you’re supported by a home support worker, peer support worker, or receive in home caregiving services, we tailor the experience to meet your needs and comfort level. These sessions are suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced artists. It’s more than just art, it’s about improving well-being, gaining independence, and enjoying social interaction. The classes help people supported through NDIS plans, specially those looking for mental health support, social engagement, and confidence-building activities in a fun way.
Michael’s Art Journey with RVP Care
One of our proud participants, Michael, has truly embraced the joy of our art classes. With the guidance of his dedicated support worker, Michael explored new creative techniques and enjoyed every moment of painting and expressing himself. These sessions have not only boosted his artistic skills but also helped him grow in confidence and social connection. Supported by our caring NDIS disability support worker, Michael looked forward to each session, often leaving with a big smile and a unique piece of art he could call his own. His experience reflects how powerful creative activities can be when combined with the right care and encouragement. Michael’s journey reminds us of why we do what we do helping participants enjoy meaningful activities, feel proud of their progress, and feel truly included in the community.
